La English Football League League Two é il campionato di quarta divisione del calcio inglese. La Football League (FL), la più antica lega professionistica del mondo, organizzava il massimo campionato di calcio dal 1888, il campionato di seconda divisione dal 1892 e il campionato di terza divisione dal 1920. Dal 1921 alla fine della stagione 1957-58 la terza divisione era suddivisa in due campionati su base regionale, la Division North e la Division South. Dalla riforma di queste, nel 1958, esordiva la quarta divisione data la creazione della Third Division e della Fourth Division.

Nel 2004 la Football League rinominava ancora le sue divisioni, la First Division diventava Championship, la Second Division diventava League One e la Third Division diventava League Two. Nel 2016 infine la Football League diventava la English Football League e la quarta divisione del calcio inglese diventava la EFL League Two.
